Technologies

The practice of dentistry is constantly evolving. Knowledge about oral diseases, conditions, and associated treatments is continually advancing through research. Additionally, new technologies are regularly being introduced to the market. These technological advancements help simplify diagnostics, enhance comfort, and ensure the safety of the provided care.

In order to provide the best possible service to our patients, we strive to adopt some of the best available technologies. This allows our dentists to have additional tools to enhance the quality of their treatments and ensure optimal results. Furthermore, our dentists undergo advanced continuing education to stay constantly updated.

One-visit crown

With this advanced technology, the design, manufacturing, and installation of ceramic crowns and inlays become extremely simple. Advanced software and a robotic milling unit allow for high-quality restorations to be created. in a single visit. All steps, from evaluation to placement, are done in the clinic during a single visit. This streamlined approach eliminates the need to send dental impressions to the laboratory. It also reduces transportation of materials, crowns, and eliminates disposable materials.

The result achieved is both natural and long-lasting. The crowns and inlays produced are made from highly durable ceramic and are available in different shades to perfectly match the patient's overall smile.

Digital impressions with iTero

The iTero scanner is a device used to capture 3D images that replace traditional dental impressions. It provides real-time, high-resolution images that can be used to model restorations such as crowns and inlays, as well as clear orthodontic aligners called aligners.

The iTero scanner is compatible with Glidewell technologies, enabling the creation of same-day dental restorations, and Invisalign, which provides invisible orthodontic solutions. With these precise 3D images, dentists can accurately design and plan custom dental restorations and teeth alignment treatments, thereby offering more predictable results tailored to individual patient needs.

Digital radiology

Digital radiology is used as a complement to visual examinations to refine diagnoses, allowing for the capture of images of oral structures such as jawbones, the space beneath the gums, the lateral surfaces of teeth, and dental roots that would otherwise be invisible. Our digital devices provide clear images almost instantly, which are directly transmitted to the computer, eliminating the need for developing films using dipping solutions as was the case with traditional X-rays.

Moreover, our machine emits approximately 75% to 80% less radiation than the machines used in the past. This technology is therefore both efficient and safe!

The sterilization center

Sterilization is an essential aspect of a dental clinic as it ensures a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and medical staff. Sterilization refers to the complete elimination of all microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, present on dental instruments and surfaces.

By adhering to these measures, Santé dentaire SO can maintain a sterile environment, reduce the risk of infection, and ensure the safety and health of our patients.
